James Allen Lack, 61, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
James was born in Tulsa, Okla., Jan. 11, 1953, to the late James Lafayette Lack and Clara Mae Moore Lack.
He had worked as the operations manager for a trucking company in California.
James' passion was baseball and golf. If it was a beautiful day, he enjoyed being on the links sharing shots and laughter or watching a baseball game with his family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating his life at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Barry Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.
James is survived by his sons, Kristopher Lack and wife, Jessica, of Modesto, Calif., and Matthew Lack and wife, Stephanie, of Goldsboro; daughter, Danielle Lau and husband, Steven, of Modesto, Calif.; grandchildren, Taylor Danielle Lack, Jonathan Steven Lau, Brody Kristopher Lack and Emma Kathleen Smith; and several loving sisters.
