PAULA TYNDALL STEELE

Paula Tyndall Steele, 35, a warrior during life and throughout her battle with cancer, went to be with her Lord and savior, and with those beloved family who went on before, Monday, Jan. 20, 2014.
Paula was a beautiful person whose loving spirit and ever present smile radiated the joy she experienced in living every day of her life. She was deeply devoted to her family, and was happiest when she was spending time with her husband, Eric, and her sons, Tyndall, Janeson and Marett.
In her battle with cancer, she was a constant inspiration, and those who knew her will always remember her joy in living, her laughter, her positive attitude, her caring and loving ways and, of course, her courage. Although Paula leaves a vacant place in our hearts, the best of Paula will live on in each of us.
Paula was born in Wayne County Dec. 14, 1978, to the late Richard Earl Tyndall and Jane McClees Tyndall.
She was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she received her master's degree in public administration.
Paula was the program coordinator and a strong advocate for the Reach Out and Read Program in Goldsboro.
She was also an active member of the Goldsboro Junior Woman's Club.
Paula will be remembered by her husband, Eric Steele; her three sons, Tyndall, age 7, Janeson, age 5, and Marett, age 3; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
A service celebrating Paula's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Gary Bailey and the Rev. Wes Boyd officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Paula's memory to the Greater Wayne Children's Health Foundation for the Reach Out and Read Program, 2706 Medical Office Place, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534, or Cures for the Colors to Southeastern Cancer Care, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
