ROBERT FULTON GILLIKIN

Robert Fulton Gillikin, 84, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Gillikin was born in Craven County June 12, 1929, to the late Herbert Whitworth Gillikin and Lena Wooten Gillikin.
He retired from the city of Goldsboro as executive director of Goldsboro Housing Authority.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Charlie L. Hoyle officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Mr. Gillikin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Handley Gillikin; his son, Albert Handley Gillikin of Rocky Mount; his sisters-in-law, June Hoyle and husband, Charlie, of Goldsboro and Ruby Lewis and husband, Manny, of Florida; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dr. William Gillikin, Charles Gillikin and Herbert Gillikin.
