Marvin Gerald Bartlett, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with military honors. The Rev. Don Sauls will officiate.
There will be a time of visiting with the family following the service and at other times from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the residence.
Surviving are a daughter, Katherine Nadine Butts (Thomas) of Goldsboro; son, Larry Bartlett of Pikeville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Bartlett Radford (William) of Wilson; brothers, John W. Bartlett (Faye) of Goldsboro and Roy W. Bartlett (Agnes) of Eureka; and brothers-in-law, Billy Gene Herring (Phyllis) of Wilson and George Edward Herring (Carolyn) of Swansboro.
A native of Antioch community of Wayne County, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Herring Bartlett Nov. 1, 2012, and his parents, Annie Kinzie Best Bartlett and Marvin Larry Bartlett.
He was retired from aircraft maintenance in the United States Air Force.
