ETHEL GREENE RODGERS

Ethel Greene Rodgers, 96, 1781 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
She was born March 15, 1917, to Junious and Charity Core Greene in Wayne County.
She graduated from Dillard High School in 1937.
She was the widow of the late Huel James Rodgers, whom she married in 1941.
Homegoing services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Howard Delano Rodgers of Fayetteville, N.C., Leon Russell Rodgers of the home, and Aldrena Rodgers of Los Angeles, Calif., and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8:45 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 7:45 to 8:45 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
