George Ronnie Battle was born March 14, 1943, to George and Luevenia Battle in Wayne County. He passed away Tuesday at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Battle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gospel Tabernacle Church. Interment will be held in Old Mill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family will be receiving friends at 719 National Drive and 110 Shirley Drive.
Arrangements are being handled by E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
