LORISE BRASWELL FAIRCHILD

Lorise Braswell Fairchild, 51, peacefully went to be with her Lord and savior Wednesday morning, April 24, 2013, at her home surrounded by her closest family.
Lorise was born April 14, 1962, in Goldsboro to the late Harold Liston and Janice Askew Braswell.
She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, and volunteered for Guardian ad Litem.
Lorise's life was filled with the joy of helping others and taking care of her many animals, and she was gifted with the ability to make anything grow in her garden. Her home is filled with plants and animals that she rescued. She had a special touch of making everyone she met smile and feel special, and her laughter will be forever heard by everyone who knew her.
Lorise leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband of 30 years, Mark C. Fairchild; son, Mark Austin Fairchild of Goldsboro; brother, Harold Braswell (Dolly Smith, sister-in-love) of Clayton; her loving dogs, Lita and Dixie; four cats; and her turtle, Telasia.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, at New Hope United Methodist Church, 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, from 4 to 5 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 5 p.m. Pastor Steve Wellman and Pastor Harold Preston will be officiating the service.
