ROBERT L. LEE

Retired Air Force Technical Sgt. Robert L. Lee went to be with his Lord Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
TSgt. Lee was born in Franklin County, Ky., June 28, 1940, to the late Harvey Cecil Lee and Mary Montgomery Lee.
He was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro, where he was a very faithful member and usher, and where he loved to greet everyone.
TSgt. Lee also loved his country very much, serving in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He also retired from Civil Service at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base after 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Barry Teague officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at Wilson Cemetery.
TSgt. Lee was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 43 years, Clarice Dorine Jeffrey Lee.
He is survived by three daughters, Donna Marie Gooding and husband, Steven Wilson Gooding, of Williamston, Peggy Ann Rayborn and her husband, David Rayborn, of Frankfort, Ky., and Teresa Dorine Alston and her husband, Timothy Wydal Alston; his sister, Diana Hemze of Frankfort, Ky.; brothers, Charles David Lee of Frankfort, Ky., and Roy William Lee of Frankfort, Ky.; grandchildren, Clarice Marie Rochelle, Mary Katheryn Robinson, Timothy Wydal Alston Jr., Michelle Barnes and Josh Rayborn; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Sarah Frances Petrey, Mildred Jones and Amy Juanita Harrod, and three brothers, John Edward Lee, Cecil Franklin Lee and Harvey Kesler Lee.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 12, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
