CHARLES E. PIZZINO

MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles Edward Pizzino II, 69, Rones Chapel community, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Wayne Hospital.
A service of remembrance will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Tyndall Funeral Home, and will be officiated by pastor Kelvin Gurley, and followed by a time of visitation.
Mr. Pizzino, a native of West Virginia, had served in the United States Navy, and was a retired welder in the boiler manufacturing industry.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Blizzard Pizzino; six children, Mark Cook and Namon Cook both of West Virginia, Charlie Pizzino Jr. of Virginia, Tammy Pizzino Vaughan of Charleston, S.C., and Melissa Pizzino Rouse and Natalie Lois Sunshine Hicks both of Mount Olive; four siblings, Doug Pizzino and Dale Pizzino both of Kernersville and Dwayne Pizzino and Regina Toler both of West Virginia; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his parents-in-law, Larry and Lois Pitts of Mount Olive.
His parents, Charles Edward Pizzino and Beulah Evans Pizzino, preceded him in death, as did an infant son.
