LAGRANGE -- David Wayne Kneeshaw II, 46, LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
David was born Aug. 25, 1966, in Lenoir County to Becky Sutton of LaGrange and the late David Wayne Kneeshaw.
In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by the love of his life, Cindy Perry Garrett, June 30, 2012.
David worked in outside sales with Dillon Supply Co., and served 20 years with Elroy Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, target shooting, cooking, woodworking, being the family handyman and most of all, cherished being a wonderful father to his daughters.
A service to remember David's life will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with Scott Hardy officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
David is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Carrie Kneeshaw and Heather Nicole Kneeshaw; mother, Becky Sutton and companion, Max Best; two sisters, Kathryn Kneeshaw and fiance, Mark Smith, and Marth Kneeshaw Smith and husband, Corey; brother, Charles Kneeshaw and wife, Lisa; his best friend, Randy Taylor and wife, Kim, and their daughter, Kassidy; seven nieces and nephews, Mara, Courtney, Mason, Ryan, Landon, Braden, Connor and Catheryne; Cindy's children, Paige and Daniel; and her parents, Dan and Edith Perry.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service, and at other times they will be at his mother's home.
