Mr. Kenneth E. Winn, 73, lovingly known by his family and friends as "Slow Motion" of 133 Nelson St., Mount Olive, departed his earthly life on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at The Life Care Hospital of North Carolina, Rocky Mount.
A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 9 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 401 South East Center St., Mount Olive. Pastor Patsy Faison will officiate.
Also, a viewing will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2012, from 8:30 until 8:50 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 401 South East Center St., Mount Olive.
Kenneth was born in Wayne County on March 1, 1939, to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Smith Winn and Mr. Homer Winn.
He received his education from the New York City Public Schools.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of his son, Mr. Gregory Winn, 133 Nelson St., Mount Olive, where the family and friends will assemble, one hour prior, at 7:50 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
