KINSTON--Catherine Collins Helmey, 97, of Kinston, formerly of Orlando, died Friday.
She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Savannah, Ga. to the late Charles Wesley Collins and Alice Gill Collins. She was wife of the late Herbert Helmey.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Home, 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.
Burial will be at Bonaventure Cemetery
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Local arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
