SEVEN SPRINGS — Dwight Wayne Hardison, 54, 291 Donald K. Outlaw Road, passed away quietly at home during the early morning hours of Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, at 2:30 p.m. at the Dwight Hardison Family Cemetery at the residence.

Friends and family are being received at the residence, where Mr. Hardison will lie in state.

Dwight was a poultry and grain farmer in the Outlaw’s Bridge community.

He was proud of his family, and cherished his many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jane Kennedy Hardison; his children, James Hardison of Seven Springs, Brandy H. Summerlin and her husband, Todd, of Mount Olive and Chris Hardison of Seven Springs; a grandson, Bill Summerlin of Mount Olive; his parents, Elwood Bryce Hardison and Lola Mae Howard Hardison of Albertson; two sisters, Deborah H. Jones of Deep Run and Kristi H. Gomez of Albertson; two brothers, Kelly Hardison and Kevin Hardison both of Albertson; and many special friends, including Keith and Marcia Kearney of Carteret County and Russ and Joan Slate of Stokes County.

Dwight was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Hardison and Gregory Hardison.

Tyndall Funeral Home of Mount Olive is pleased to serve the Hardison family.
