MOUNT OLIVE -- Hazel Grady Millard, 82, passed away Friday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at 7 p.m., at the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. Dr. Larry Withrow will officiate the service, and visitation will follow. Burial will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Patrick "Pat" Millard; two sons, Gary Millard and his wife, Tracy, of Mount Olive, and Charlie Millard and his wife, Anita, of Greenville; a granddaughter, Kelsey Millard; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Strickland, and her husband, Carvie, of Rocky Mount; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, Lennie and Carrie Williams Grady; two brothers, Perry and Grover Grady, and a sister, Sadie Brogden.
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be directed to Salem Advent Christian Church, 909 N. Church St., Mount Olive 28365, or to the American Heart Association.
