Donald Alexander McMullen Sr., 74, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
Donald was born in Roanoke, Va., to the late Harry C. McMullen and Alice Vaden McMullen.
He attended Goldsboro Worship Center.
Donald served his country in the United States Air Force, and served two deployments to Vietnam.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating.
Donald is survived by his wife, Mildred Reed McMullen; daughters, Dani Miller of Delaware, Susan Wiley and husband, Johnny, of Dudley and Leigh Ann Woolsey and husband, Tom, of Garner; son, Donald Alexander McMullen Jr. and wife, Marie, of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Franklin D. McMullen.
