DUDLEY -- Richard Coghill, 81, Dudley, passed away Monday at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson.
He was the son of the late Richard and Jessie Coghill, and was the husband of the late Virginia Ruth Coghill.
He was retired from Radio Shack, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
He is survived by two sons, David Coghill and wife, Jo Ann, of Goldsboro and Danny Coghill of Dudley; two daughters, Crystal Smith of Dudley and Angel Austin of Dudley; a brother, Graham Coghill of Macedonia, Ohio; a sister, Jo Ann Hughes of Durham; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
