SAMUEL C. WALLACE

Samuel Clem Wallace, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, July 20, 2012, at Countryside Village.

A service to celebrate his life will be 3 p.m. today, July 22, 2012, at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will be at the Hester Family Cemetery.

Clem was born in Carteret County on May 28, 1921, to the late David Wallace and Malina Bell Wallace. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, he was retired from Civil Service. Clem was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

Clem is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sutton Wallace, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Minnie Orr and Lillian Wilcox; and his brothers, Rossi Wallace and Alvin Wallace.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1200 W. Grantham St., Goldsboro, NC 27530

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
