GROVER WILLIAMS

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Grover Ray Williams, 81, Pineview Cemetery Road, died early Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Haney of Scotts Store community; a brother, Donald W. Williams Sr. and wife, Mary, of Seven Springs; and two sisters, Dora W. Beavers of Oriental and Esther W. Hardy of Norfolk, Va.
Grover is also survived by a cousin, Major Jones and his wife, Kitsie, of Mount Olive and their family; a special nephew, Joshua Williams of Seven Springs and his fianceé, Wendy Gardner; two special friends, Harold and Katie Brooks of Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Paul Williams and Emma Lee Edwards; three sisters, Sallie Hardy, Johnnie Summerlin and Olive Jones; and a brother, James H. "Buck" Williams.
Grover was a member of the Farm Bureau, Disabled Veteran's Association and Woodmen of the World.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Paul Hardy and the Rev. Jim Boatwright officiating.
Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
Burial will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.
