Christine "Chris" Louise Carrington-Daye departed from this life on April 3, 2012.
Home-going will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, at Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 2708 NC Highway 55, Dur-ham. Pre-service visitation will be held at noon at Peace. The family will receive visitors starting Tuesday, April 10, at the home of Ms. Lucille Cates, 2707 Highland Ave,, Durham, NC 27704.
Chris's beautiful memory is cherished by her husband, Shelton; daughters, Shelboni Ramey and Sherri Scott, and their spouses; her grandsons, Stacey and Judah; and a host of family members and friends who love and respect her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Chris's name be made to the John Avery Boys and Girls Club of Durham, P.O. Box 446, Durham, NC. 27702.
