James George Roosen, 56, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro.
He was the son of Merlin Roosen of South Carolina, and was married to Amparo Roosen.
He is survived by two sons.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
