NINA W. WADSWORTH

Nina Wadsworth, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, with her family by her side.
The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Nina's life at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Rose presiding. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Nina was born in Johnston County on Aug. 24, 1930, to the late Cyrus A. Woodard and Nina W. Woodard. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
To all who knew Nina, she was a sweet and kind woman who loved her family and had a great sense of humor. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
Nina is survived by her husband of 54 years, Carl H. Wadsworth; her daughter, Rebecca Kirchstein and husband, Eric, of Raleigh; her stepson, Kenneth Wadsworth and wife, Jean, of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, Julie, Jennifer, Stephanie, Callie, Bobby, JoAnn, Michael, Wayne, Debbie, and Sandy. Many other family members were dear to her, especially her many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. Nina was preceded in death by eight brothers and five sisters.
Also considered part of her family were her wonderful caregivers at the Brian Center of Goldsboro, whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activities Department at the Brian Center, 1700 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
