NEWTON GROVE -- Blondie J. Sutton, 76, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011.
Funeral services will be today, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. at Pleasant Union Christian Church, with the Rev. Todd Byrd and Josh Barfield officiating. Graveside services will be Monday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. at Thornton Family Cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, Tammy Blackman of Newton Grove and Becky Barfield of Clinton; grandchildren, Chasity Hargrove and husband, Brian, Hannah Blackman, Michaela Blackman and Allie Blackman all of Newton Grove; great-grandchild, Bailey Hargove of Newton Grove; sister, Barbara Jackson of Newton Grove; and brother Denis Sherald Jackson of Fuquay Varina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McCoy Sutton; parents, Lewis and Sudie Jackson; and brother, Charles Jackson.
The family will receive friends after the funeral service today.
