SMITHFIELD — Wanda Gail Carter, 48, Smithfield, died Dec. 7, 2011.
Born in Duplin County April 16, 1963, she was the daughter of Peggy Lee Lamb of Smithfield and the late Mack M. Carter Sr.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. in Price Cemetery near Pine Level, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a sister, Rose Carter Rose of Smithfield; brothers, Mack M. “Buddy” Carter of Smithfield, Craig Carter of Rosewood and Mark Wayne Carter of Smithfield; nieces, Angel Powell, Alyssa DeSilva, Stacy Geraci, Michelle Geraci and Jeanne Johnson; nephews, Rusty Carter, Daniel Carter, Spencer Powell, Josh Geraci and Noah Carter; and her two best friends, Donna Gibson and Dennis Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parrish Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
