LOIS ROGERS HOWELL

Lois Rogers Howell, 89, resident of the Pines, passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Lois was born in Wayne County Feb. 26, 1922, to the late David John Rogers and Wrenner Parker Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raymond L. Howell.
Lois was an active member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Frank Flowers officiating.
Lois is survived by her sister, Helen Ellis of Raleigh, and her sisters-in-law, Flonnie Turner and Hilda Howell both of Goldsboro. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Howell, and her sister, Myra Jackson.
