On April 5, 2011, God saw fit to select a beautiful flower from his garden and called her home from labor to reward at 10:30 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by loved ones. God in his infinite wisdom was ready to offer her eternal rest

A visitation was held Saturday from 2 until 4 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home; the viewing will continue from 5 until 7 p.m. at Barnes Primitive Baptist Church in Eureka. Services celebrating the prolific life and legacy of Ms. Best will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ in Fremont.
