ADELENA SULLIVAN PROCTOR

MOUNT OLIVE -- Adelena Sullivan Proctor, 86, of Mount Olive, was freed from pain and taken to her heavenly home Friday, April 1, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Community Funeral Home Chapel of Warsaw. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens. A visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Community Funeral Home.
Mrs. Proctor was born in Duplin County on July 11, 1924, to the late Clemont Sullivan and Clarisy Wiggins Sullivan.
Mrs. Proctor is survived by sons, Wendell Allen Proctor and wife, Martha, of Clinton, Ennis Ray Proctor and wife, Judie, of Forest Hills, La.; sisters, Evelyn Benson of Warsaw and Ruby Rutledge of Willow Springs; grandchildren, Heather Proctor Matthews and husband, Nicholas, of Clinton, Kristen Nicole Proctor of Raleigh, Phillip Proctor of Angleton, Texas, Tim Proctor and Benjamin Proctor of Payson, Utah; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Proctor was preceded in death by husband, Ennis Elton Proctor; brothers, David Sullivan Cameron, John Leslie Sullivan, Wesley Frank Sullivan, Rudolph "Red" Sullivan; and a sister, Ena Mae Swinson.
Flowers will be welcomed or memorial donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bishop Hugh B. Harper, Albertson Ward, 285 Guy Sanderson Road, Albertson, NC, 28508.
