Edgar Alexander Holt Jr., 89, of Center St., Princeton, died Friday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today, at Princeton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Coppock officiating. A private interment will be at the Futrell Family Cemetery.
He was born to the late Edgar Alexander Holt Sr. and Cornelia Saunders Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Futrell Holt, and two children.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. today and after the service at Casey Funeral Home.
