Ann Willoughby Remington, 78, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Ann was born in Hertford County Nov. 1, 1932, to the late Lee R. Willoughby and Jimmie Umphlette Willoughby.
She was a graduate of Louisburg College.
Ann had been employed by Wheeler Brothers Inc. of Somerset, Pa., for 13 years. She had also worked with Full Fashion Lady in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mary Reese officiating.
Ann is survived by her husband, Ray W. Remington; her daughters, Brenda Remington Franciso of Enid, Okla., and Kathy Remington Nelson of Baldwin, Mich.; her sister, Yvonne W. Heath of College Park, Md.; her brother, Ralph Willoughby and wife, Rebecca, of Raleigh; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
