LAWYER J. WHITAKER
A celebration of life for Lawyer J. Whitaker, 57, 1108 Elanor Ave., will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 12 noon at Deeper Life Church Ministries, with elder Vivian Whitaker and evangelist Abdullah Whitaker as eulogist. Interment with a dove release ceremony will be in Wayne Memorial Park North.
He was born Sept. 28, 1953, to Joseph Whitaker and the late Alice Armstrong Whitaker.
He leaves precious memories with his wife, elder Vivian C. Whitaker, and two sons, evangelist Abdullah A. Whitaker and Carlos Wooten.
There will be a viewing held Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home.
A sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
