John Thomas Moore, 53, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
John was born in Watertown, Minn., Sept. 28, 1957, to the late George Curtis Moore and Florence Adeline Kornek Moore.
He served his country in the United States Air Force for many years, and later retired as a sales representative with AT&T Mobility.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home.
John is survived by his son, Curtis Moore of Goldsboro, and his brothers, Patrick Moore of Minnesota and Theodore Moore of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Wayne County Humane Society at P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at 1807 Beech St.
