WARSAW -- Thelma Beasley Grady, 87, Warsaw, passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Duplin General Hospital.
Mrs. Grady was born Nov. 27, 1923, in Duplin County to the late William C. and Alberta Brock Beasley.
Mrs. Grady is survived by son, Jack Grady and wife, Felecia, of Warsaw; daughter, Margaret G. Owens and husband, Johnny L., of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Eric Owens and wife, Tracy, of Wilson, Andy Owens of Stantonsburg, Missina Hardison and husband, Rodney, of Warsaw, Seth Grady and wife, Kelly, of Warsaw and Michelle Grady of Gastonia; great-grandchildren, Wesley Owens, Reagan Owens, Austin Owens, Josh Owens, Kenley Hardison, Samatha Hardison, Jessica Hardison, Chloe Grady and Luke Grady.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grady was preceded in death by husband, Andrew J. Grady, and sisters, Christine Ivey, Pearl Gainus and Adell B. Tutor.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Community Funeral Home chapel, with visitation following the service. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, in Pincrest Cemetery.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Carolina East, Interim Healthcare, Duplin General Hospital ICU and caregivers, Christine Faison and Susie Pearsall.
