RUBY P. KELLY

MOUNT OLIVE -- Ruby Pearsall Kelly, 92, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Sterling House of Greenville.
Mrs. Kelly was a well-known floral designer, having been a longtime employee of Mount Olive Floral Co., and in later years, Floral Designs by Clara.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Tru-Friendship Sunday School class.
She was the daughter of the late Will and Flora Adams Pearsall, was the widow of David Russell Kelly and had been a longtime Mount Olive resident.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy K. Medlin of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Gail Kelly of Elon; and two grandsons, Clay Medlin and Josh Kelly.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Charles Kenneth Medlin, a brother and three sisters.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home Wednesday, Jan. 12, beginning at 1 p.m., with funeral services following at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel, after which burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, with Dr. Dennis Atwood officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 239, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
