ROBERT BORKOWSKI

Robert "Bob" John Borkowski, 68, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Robert was born in Erie, Pa., July 24, 1942, to the late William Borkowski and Josephine Banak Borkowski.
He served his country in the United States Air Force.
Robert was part owner of McFatter Woodworks of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S., officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce McFatter Borkowski; his daughters, Jody Borkowski Carter and husband, Kevin, of Pikeville and Stephanie Borkowski Thomas and husband, Bill, of Goldsboro; his son, Steven John Borkowski of Wilmington; his granddaughter, Madeline Rayne Thomas; his daughters, Angela Reynolds and Tracy Black of Indiana; his sisters, Audrey Mrozowski and husband, Kenny, and Mary Tighe of Erie, Pa.; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Marshall and Marianne Borkowski of Erie, Pa.; his godmother, Virginia Stanek; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Borkowski and Richard Borkowski.

The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
