TAMPA, Fla. -- Brenda Gail Barnes Turner, 47, 9206 Camino Villa Blvd., Tampa, Fla., formerly of Fremont, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa.
Eulogistic services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ in Fremont.
Precious memories rest with her beloved her husband, Russell Turner of Tampa, Fla.; son Russell (Nani) Turner of Tampa, Fla.; grandson Kaiden Turner of Tampa, Fla.; her siblings, Carrie Barnes, Vivian Barnes, Anita Green, Bessie Barnes, Margie Barnes, Edna Parker, Mary Pate, Melody Barnes, Michelle Ryals and James Barnes; her best friend, Louise Granby; two godsons; a goddaughter; seven uncles; three aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Turner will lie in state for viewing at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the home of Carrie Barnes, 918 Goldsboro St. in Fremont, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are entrusted to McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Goldsboro.
The family asks that flowers be omitted.
