Mr. Bernard Fitzgerald Myles, 46, lovingly known by his family and close friends as "Bernie," 317 Wayne Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., departed this life peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, in Goldsboro, N.C.
Bernie was born Jan. 7, 1964, to the late Mr. William Myles and the living Mrs. Emma Silver Myles.
Truly, Bernard was an angel among us, a gentle, loving, sensitive and compassionate soul. To know him was to love him.
Bernie earned many friends among the Country Pine Group Home.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at 12 noon at McIntyre Funeral Home and Florist, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., with pastor Occie Ward officiating.
Also a public viewing will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, 533 U.S. 117 south, Goldsboro, N.C.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Mrs. Emma Silver Myles of Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother, Mosco Michael Myles of Philadelphia, Pa.; a nephew, Mosco Michael Myles Jr., his wife and two great-nieces all stationed in Japan; seven aunts; two uncles; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
