SHAKEETA L. ARMSTRONG and J'VION ARMSTRONG

Shakeeta L. "KeeKee" Armstrong and baby boy J'vion Armstrong of 424 Charles St., died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held at New Spirit Church, 1501 N. William St., Tuesday at 1 p.m. Following the proceedings in the sanctuary, these two precious temples, along with their adored family, will be escorted by the E.M. Matthews Classic Angelic White Fleet to Old Mill Cemetery for interment rites.
She was the daughter of Emelda "Peaches" Williams and Lendale Smith of Goldsboro. She attended Wayne County Public Schools and graduated from Goldsboro High School.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Jaishon Armstrong; one sister, Covia Williams of Goldsboro; and a host of other family and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Armstrong and her son will be held at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc., Monday from 3 until 7 p.m.
Although Shakeeta and her son did not stay here with all that loved them to laugh and play, those that remain can have that assurant solace knowing that they are still together in that beautiful place beyond the skies.
