Effie Mae Phillips of 530 Oliver Road, Kenly, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday at her residence.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 23 S. James St. Burial will follow at Fremont Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
She was the daughter of the late Patty Lou Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Phillips.
