RED BANK, N.J. -- Willie Steven Hollomon, 69, formerly of Goldsboro, died April 21.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday at St. John A.M.E. Zion Church on Pecan Road in Dudley at 1 p.m., with the Rev. William McDow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his life two sisters, Bessie "Ruth" Holloman Williams of Red Bank, N.J., and Edna Holloman of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Almeta Edwards Hollomon of Goldsboro; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro, with the family receiving friends there from 6 to 7 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at 212 Wayne Ave.
