Joseph Page Jr. 40, 125 Woodside Circle, was born on June 18, 1969 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Veronica Flanagan and the late Joseph Page Sr. He quietly entered into eternal rest Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A service of remembrance for Mr. Page will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at First Congreg-ational Church in Dudley, with minister Danny Flanagan providing words of comfort. Following the formal services in the sanctuary, the earthly tabernacle of Mr. Page and his adored family will be escorted to Old Mill Cemetery for interment rites. It will be in this place that the servants of service will lay his somatic temple awaiting Gabriel's trumpet sound. For we know that is when all that have labored down here will be able to meet Him in the air.

Joseph was educated in the Goldsboro Public School System, where he graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1987.

After graduation, Joseph started in the work force. He was employed with Mt. Olive Pickle Co. in Mount Olive and eventually Franklin Bakery, where he worked as a truck loader.

Joseph was loved by those that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Loving memories will be forever etched in the hearts of many such as his mother, Veronica Page; two sisters: Towanna Page Bynum (Curtis) and Rosetta Page; one whom he loved like a daughter, Tanisha Boykin "NeNe;" maternal grandmother, Geraldine Flanagan; paternal grandmother, Gloria Page; 11 aunts, Ruby Flanagan, Rosie Ransom, Carolyn Jackson, Barbara A. Rivera, Edna Flanagan, Bernadine Flanagan, Linda Flanagan, Diane Flanagan, Keisha Flanagan, Joyce Flanagan and Debbie Flanagan; a great-aunt, Jessie Simmons (Leslie); seven uncles, Danny Flanagan (Helen), Garry Flanagan, Kenny Flanagan, Bernard Flanagan, Calvin Flanagan, Wisdom Simmons and Walter Simmons; two nieces, Kim'Yata Page and Shaniqua Bryant; two great-nieces, Akilah Bryant and Kimora Bell; a nephew, Marcos Page; two special friends, Annie Dawson and Carlos Dobbins; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.

Mr. Page was proceeded in passing by his father, grandfather and grandmother.

Visitation for Mr. Page will be held Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at E. M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc., 401 N. William St. in Goldsboro.
