LUCRETIA S. HARDISON
Died Jan. 25, 2010
KENLY -- Lucretia Sauls Hardison died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Kenly United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Reed officiating. Burial will be in Kenly Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County to the late E.T. and Lucretia Edmundson Sauls, she was a long-time resident of Kenly.
She was a retired educator with Johnston County schools and a member of Kenly United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her nephews, Billy Sauls and wife, Myrtie, of Eureka and George Tenuta of Wilmington; nieces, Mary Lou Tyler and husband, Gary, of Wilmington and Alice Crawford of Goldsboro; and numerous grandnieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, DeWitt Hardison; sisters, Virginia Sauls and Mildred Tenuta; brothers, Leland Sauls and Wiley Sauls; and niece, Ann Sauls Sanders.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at Kenly United Methodist Church.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins of Goldsboro.
