DURHAM -- Gloristine Sherrod, 65, 400 Wittenburg Way, died Thursday evening at home.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, with Dr. Mable R. Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Armwood Cemetery in Faison.
She is survived by her mother, Celestine Armwood Sherrod, and three children.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:30 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at 1104 S. Church St. in Mount Olive, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
