ALBERTSON -- Kurt Maynard Price, 42, passed away Sunday.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phyllis Vail officiating. Interment will be at Seven Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Kurt worked as a supervisor with Duplin County Emergency Medical Services. He was a certified EMT paramedic and critical intensive care provider.
Kurt was a member of the Albertson Volunteer Fire Department, where he currently served as 2nd lieutenant and previously served as assistant chief.
Kurt is survived by a daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Price of Seven Springs; father, Maynard Price and wife, Tammie, of Seven Springs; brother, Jason Price and wife, Sandy, of Seven Springs; paternal grandmother, Betty Price of Seven Springs; and two nieces, Raven and Mikayla Price.
Kurt was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Ray Bland Price.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Price, 5418 E. N.C. 55 in Seven Springs.
