Died Dec. 13, 2009
MOUNT OLIVE -- Tyler Steven Brewer, 15, died Sunday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with father Pat Keane officiating. Burial will be in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Rose W. Brewer; his father, Steven Brewer; sister, Anna Marie Brewer of the home; half-brother, Paul Durant Brewer of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Ivor Joyce Tart of Mount Olive; paternal grandmother, Chris Brewer of Mount Olive; and maternal great-grandmother, Letha Giddens of Mount Olive.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alfred Westbrook; maternal great-grandfather, James Giddens; and paternal grandfather, Ronald Brewer.
A rosary service will be held tonight at 6 at the funeral home, with visitation following until 8:30.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ivor Joyce Tart, 697 Slapout Road in Mount Olive or at the home of Chris Brewer, 104 College Circle in Mount Olive.
