MOUNT OLIVE -- Mable Cromartie , 87, 313 W. James St., died Saturday with her family at her bedside.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Willis Creek A.M.E. Zion Church in Fayetteville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Cromartie of Hope Mills; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Hilda Pollock Cromartie of Mount Olive; a sister, Sarah Cromartie of Fayetteville; two grandsons, E.J. Cromartie of Mount Olive and Juan Cromartie of Las Vegas, Nev.; three granddaughters, NaTale Cromartie Nelson (Ryan) of Mount Olive, Crystal Nimons of White Plains, N.Y., and Cheryl Comer of Philadelphia, Pa.; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the home of Edward and Hilda Pollock Cromartie, 313 W. James St. in Mount Olive, and at Willis Creek A.M.E. Zion Church Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m.
Matthews Funeral Service of Wallace is handling the arrangements.
