Allie Louise Swisher, 92, 2710 Langston Drive in Kirkwood community, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Clifford Britton officiating.
Born in Davie County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wesley and Lettie Boyd Richardson and wife of the late Floyd Swisher.
She was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church and formerly employed with Kings Department Store.
Mrs. Swisher is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. Sr. and Ethelene Swisher of Goldsboro; two brothers, William Richardson and Bobby Richardson; two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Ann Schelia; nine grandchildren, Bob and Karen Swisher, Mary Margaret and Gary Donoho, David Swisher, Susan and Dean Tindall, Johnny Swisher Jr., Ethan Dale Swisher, Cynthia McDaniel, Katrina and Lonnie Hill and Dwayne and Cindy Swisher; eight great-grandchildren including a very special great-grandchild, Pamela Lynne Swisher; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers.
Family members will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the graveside service and at other times at the home of her son, Robert Swisher, 115 West Hill St. in Goldsboro.
