GREENVILLE -- Pearl P. Ross, 95, died Monday.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ross, a native of Pactolus community of Pitt County, lived all of her life in Winterville. She was a charter member of Immanuel Free Will Baptist Church, the Seniors for Christ Sunday school class and the Senior Adult Fellowship.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Pearl Bishop and husband, Larry, of Mount Olive and Kay Ross Ertel and husband, Dr. Juergen, of Germany; son, Kenneth Ray Ross and wife, Phyllis, of Greenville; sister, Gladys Guest of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Eugene Paramore, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter in-law, Marga Ross, of Greenville; granddaughter, Sharon Evans Davenport of Goldsboro; nine grand-children; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirlyn Ross Evans in 1974; her husband, Alfred Ross in 1976; son, Douglas H. Ross in 2005; and great-grandson, Evan Davenport in 1995.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
