Magalene Warren Morgan, 87, passed away Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Jackson officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
Magalene was born in Sampson County Oct. 13, 1921, to the late Shadman Warren and Addie Lewis Warren. She was married to the late Renyard Morgan.
Magalene is survived by her son, Randy Morgan and wife, Toni, of Goldsboro; her grandson, Tyler Scott Morgan of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.; her granddaughter, Susan Ashley Morgan of Greenville; and her sister, Marie McLamb of Roseboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, L.A. Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at her home, 129 Windyfield Drive in Goldsboro.
