Rachel Brown, 86, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.
Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Willie and Georgianna Hamm Walker, born in Wayne County Nov. 23, 1922.
She is survived by three children.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday and other times at the home of her daughter, Jean and Joe Johnson, 1903 Margaret Drive in Goldsboro.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory of Goldsboro.
