James Allen Edwards, 90, died today at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church, with visitation afterward. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Edwards was born in Sampson County Jan. 21, 1919, to the late Walter Gaston and Effie McClenny Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Millard Edwards, and three children.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
