Died Aug. 14, 2009
Glendora Norman Godwin, 80, of 202 S. Dillard St. entered the silent halls of death Thursday in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Her life will be remembered and celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People with Apostle Lawrence Bogier officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in the McIver Cemetery.
Precious memories are forever cherished by her sisters Mozella Norman Grantham of Pikeville, Shirley Norman Burrows of the home, Grace Norman Persky of Dudley; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday from 2:30 until 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
